Promotion of Safer Work Practises

A major feature of the Vis-Stix System is the promotion of safer work practises.

Vis-Stix Stakes and products are extremely quick to install.  In addition, once the Vis-Stix Stakes are in place, the various delineation products are easily removed and/or changed.  This leads to greatly reducing the time spent interacting with Heavy Vehicles or other traffic. 

The ability to easily remove Vis-Stix products allows for cleaning to be carried out away from dangerous locations.

With Vis-Stix products there are no heavy steel and/or concrete to lift, reducing the risk of on-site personnel injury.

The new Vis-Stix products aid in highlighting dangerous hazards reducing the likelihood of accidents and increasing site safety awareness.

Permanent or Temporary

Vis-Stix can be used for permanent installations or where signage and delineation is only required on a temporary basis.  Vis-Stix Stakes are suitable for more permanent situations while Vis-Stix Movable Bases are ideal for temporary situations.  Being light weight and easy and quick to install makes them ideal for road and general construction sites or any area where warnings are required.

Vis-Stix Solar Warning Lamps deliver enhanced visual guidance at night, particularly in adverse weather conditions when traditional marker performance is limited. 

With bright coloured lights and extra heavy duty solar charged batteries, Vis-Stix Solar Warning Lamps will shine brightly for many nights even if the sun doesn’t shine for days.

They are made of quality materials, easily installed and removed, quick and easy to clean and dust and moisture proof.

Vis-Stix Solar Warning Lamps can be used for permanent illumination of roads and paths or used as flashing barriers around dangerous items such as broken down machinery or unsafe areas.  Different lens colours are available to suit any application – White, Red, Amber, Green, Blue and Red/White.

Visual perception is critical especially for night time driving.  Enhanced delineation greatly improves the visual perception of the road ahead making driving a safer experience.

Poor visual factors and perception of hazards as with inferior delineation can lead to driver misjudgement on approaches to unlit bends and curves.

The installation of Vis-Stix Solar Warning Lamps allows the driver up to 1000 metres of visible road layout irrespective of headlight efficiency.

By increasing driver reaction time, the driver is therefore less likely to need to make sudden changes to the vehicle speed or direction and avoids sudden braking.  Good delineation achieves less stressful driving.

Multi-Purpose Products

The multi-purpose design of Vis-Stix Stakes makes them compatible with numerous interchangeable Vis-Stix products.

Vis-Stix Stakes are constructed of high quality impact resistant plastic and are capable of being hammered into the hardest of soils.  Whether they are used in conjunction with Vis-Stix Solar Warning Lamps or standard battery type lamps, installation takes only a few seconds.

Vis-Stix Stakes combined with Vis-Stix Cups allow for the use of standard warning lamps of single or double battery power.
